manifestations of the 9th art
Several comic authors like ATAK, Martin tom Dieck, Markus Huber and affiliated friends demand that the comic be afforded the same respect as literature and the visual arts and that it should receive corresponding funding. As all other art forms the comic depends on state and private support and therefore the afore-mentioned people have published a Comic-Manifesto during the International Literature Festival in Berlin.
